Knovel is going to organize general overview sessions on Knovel’s new productivity tool, Interactive Equations. Knovel Interactive Equations is a web-based productivity tool that mechanical engineers in process industries use to find equations suitable for specific applications, paired with worked examples and ready-to-use calculation software to help them solve problems faster.

In these sessions you will browse the collection of currently featured equations and practical calculation examples, learn how to use Knovel’s built-in interactive worksheets, and create worksheets from scratch using the Knovel Equation Solver.

Two live sessions are available:

Session 1

  • Hong Kong          Wednesday, 9 April 2014, 3:00 AM HKT
  • New York             Tuesday,  8 April 2014, 3:00 PM EDT

Medical Physiology presents the physiological concepts essential to clinical medicine. Each chapter provides conceptual diagrams to facilitate comprehension of difficult concepts, and presents both normal and abnormal clinical conditions to illustrate how physiology serves as an important basis for diagnosis and treatment. Hallmark pedagogical features emphasize problem-solving skills and promote review and retention: Clinical Focus and From Bench to Bedside boxes, a comprehensive glossary, and online USMLE-style review questions with answers and explanations. Companion web site offers additional resources for students (question bank, animations, searchable text) and faculty (image and test banks, PowerPoint slides for use in class).
